Pony Pals Lakeland - Alternative Provision and Leisure Activities

Pony Pals Lakeland is a family run business, Located in Egremont in the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria.

Our ponies are part of our family and have been with us for many years. These ponies were 'throw away ponies' where they had previously had many homes before coming to us. Our ponies are kind souls and each one has his/her own personality and cheeky character. Our ponies are kept in a herd and live as natural as possible with a pecking order which helps them be as social, stable and kind as they are.

We only do activities that our ponies are happy doing and select a pony to do different activities that match their personality.

​All staff are fully trained and have worked in the equine industry for many years. The Manager holds BHS, NVQ and City and Guilds qualifications.

Our pony activities centre is fully licenced and insured. Anyone working on these premesis are also DBS checked.

Although our recomended age is 4+ years, we can cater for other ages if required. Our own children from babies have grown up around and with our ponies and we want to give other children the opportunity to interact with these special animals.

​With a more laid back/homely atmosphere we can help gain your childs confidence with ponies which will be better as a first step towards future riding lessons. We have some good riding centres close by which we will be happy to recommend as we dont currently offer pony rides at the moment.

We offer 30 minute, 1 hour, 2 hour and care days sessions.
