As you move into adult life, feeling comfortable in your local community is important as this can help you meet new people and contribute to your local area. Sometimes, you may need different types of support depending on your local area, but we can either support you directly or point you in the direction of organisations that can help you feel a part of your local community.

Although we will always do our best to help you and give you whatever support you may need, there may be times when you need very specific support or there is someone who can offer the help you need more effectively. 

The support we give you depends on what your leaving care status is. If you're not sure, you can ask your Personal Advisor for help. To be able to get the support described in the core offer, your time spent in care must include at least 13 weeks after you turned 14. This could be in a single period or several different periods. You must have also been in care on or after your 16th birthday.
