Other Information Abacus Children's Day Nursery is a private nursery in Dalston, Cumbria. Our ethos is to provide a safe and friendly environment for you and your child with the opportunity to learn through play, within Ofsted guidelines. At Abacus Nursery every child counts. The nursery has been registered with Ofsted since November 2015 and cares for children from three months to five years old. There are four main children’s rooms, two on the ground floor with direct access to a secure outdoor play area and two on the upper floor. All meals are freshly prepared on the premises using local produce where available. Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner is included in the session price, along with nappies and toiletries. There is a large car park in front of the building where you are welcome to leave your vehicle and continue your commute via Dalston train station. Please contact us to arrange a visit to enable you to see for yourself the high quality of care we provide. We operate an open-door policy and you are welcome to attend at any time of day to see the nursery fully operational.
