Homelife Carlisle

Homelife Carlisle is an accredited Home Improvement agency provided by Carlisle City Council for the residents of  Carlisle and district. We provide a range of services to improve homes and help people remain independent at home for as long as possible.

We can offer help with heating, including boiler repairs and replacement

Also support and advice on home repairs and renovation

We have Discretionary Housing Grants 
 available to home owners who need work to help improve their health and well-being.

SAFE AND WARM GRANTS

Eligible works include:

~ Heating repairs and replacements

~ Double glazing

~ Energy efficiency measures such as loft and cavity wall insulation

~ Electrical safety

~ Deep cleans of properties

MINOR MEASURES GRANTS

Grants up to £500 are also available which can be used for free key-safes, electrical condition reports, boiler and fire servcing or various minor repairs

You can apply if a member of your household has:

~  a health condition

~ a carer

~ aged over 50 years old

~ the household has a low income and savings

GAS SAFETY GRANTS

As an accredited home improvement agency we are working with Foundations Independent Living Trust and Gas Safe charity to offer FREE gas safety grants up to £500 to home owners who are 21 years old and disabled or over 60 and on means-tested benefits.

Eligible works include:

Boiler and fire servicing

Gas appliance and pipework

Replacement gas boilers and fires

Gas safety checks
