Welcome to Beckermet C.E Primary School.

Here at Beckermet we believe in integrating a wide range of exciting opportunities with traditional values in education. Our aim is to help your child to release her/his full potential by developing an interest in life long learning through a broad range of subjects whilst instilling understanding and respect for Christian values. As a church school worship plays an important part in the life of the school and our children take pleasure in learning to create opportunities for and reflect on worship.

We firmly believe that we can achieve the best for your child by developing links between home and school. For this to happen we publish regular newsletters, have an e-mail and texting service and of course this website. We also have parent/teacher consultations, informal coffee mornings and an annual report detailing progress made in all areas.

We are a friendly school with small class sizes. We are a listening school and have an open door policy so you are encouraged to share both concerns and successes with the class teachers or myself.

Primary school years are an important time in the development of your child and we hope that you will share in making it successful and enjoyable.
