Beaumont College is an Independent Specialist Post 16 Further Education Provider College based in Lancaster. Funding for placements is provided by the Education Funding Agency (EFA) and the Local Authority
Beaumont College offers individualised learning programmes for residential and day students in Lancaster. We also offer places to learn in Barrow, Blackpool and Carlisle extending Beaumont's friendly and supportive environment to enable students to achieve their full potential nearer to home.
Our multi-disciplinary approach to learning makes a difference to the lives of our students. We aim to enable young adults to take responsibility for their own lives, in whichever form this takes. We encourage students to participate in exciting activities they've always wanted to try, realising their dreams in the safest way possible.

Learners can apply themselves, be referred via their Careers Advisor, Transition worker or through their Local Authority. At the annual review stage some learners will be advised of the suitability of the college to meet their needs..

The College is able to provide for a diverse range of learners who require additional support, we cater for learners with multiple learning and/or physical disability including Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Profound & Multiple LD, Sensory Impairments, Severe Learning Disability, Complex Health Needs, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and associated difficulties, Genetic and chromosomal disorders, Communication difficulties including high and low tech AAC.
