Barrow Sports Council

Barrow Sports Council provides activities for young people with a disability in term time and in holidays. We now do this in partnership with Barrow AFC Community Sports. Most of these activities are free.

We also promote activities by other providers and we meet parents and carers on a regular basis to review all these activities.

In the holidays we have activities at Barrow Park Leisure Centre including Aqua Max, Multi Max, soft play, climbing and canoeing. We also have outdoor canoeing, horse riding, football, trampoline, kids yoga and other activities at various venues.

In term time we have Aqua Max every couple of weeks (see website for dates). We have football and wheelchair sports at 5.30 every Monday at Hoops with the Wildcats.
