Distance Learning Courses in Creative Craft and Cookery with Technology Triumphs
Technology Triumphs is a company set up in 2018 by qualified teacher, Pip Rothwell. It offers distance learning courses to help home educating learners achieve formal and recognised qualifications in practical subjects such as cookery.
Technology Triumphs has approval under the awarding body NCFE and currently has around 600 learners around the UK (and a few overseas) working towards achieving GCSE level qualifications in house (assessment is via an online portfolio, so there is no need to attend and exam centre).
Our courses use fillable and engaging workbooks with links to pre-filmed tutorials, allowing you to work through them at your own pace and entirely from home. The completion of these and the submission of photographic evidence of your work (and very occasional video logs for verification of work completed), will result in the achievement of a recognised qualification.
When you begin with us, you are assigned an enhanced DBS checked assessor who will give you regular feedback on your work and is available through a messaging service for further support- all within our online learning portal.
There are no age restrictions on our courses.

Enrolment runs at 3 points in the year for a September, January and April start.
Many past learners are reporting back to us that they have been able to use their qualifications to gain access to Level 3 courses in college.

This is an entirely online provision, meaning that you are able to access your course from anywhere, providing you have a device and internet connection. There is no need to attend any sessions 'in person'.

- The courses have a total cost of £240 for Entry Level, £480 for Level 1 and £600 for Level 2. All courses are payable on a no obligation monthly payment plan.

Our courses have been designed specifically for home educating learners in order to plug the gap where it is very difficult for external candidates to receive qualifications in creative and practical subjects.
We have a growing number of learners with different learning needs that are benefitting from the flexible approach we offer.
Our no obligation payment plan also means that parents can book their young person on without the fear of being committed to the full cost of the course should circumstances change and you no longer wish to complete the course (monthly payments can be cancelled with just 3 working days notice).
We don't believe in 'deadlines' and learners are free to submit work whenever they are ready to - again allowing for a more flexible approach to learning and different needs. The total cost you pay remains the same and you are free to continue to submit work for as long as you need to after your payment plan is complete.
