Netherton Infant School

I am delighted to welcome you to our school website which will provide you with an insight into our school as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

Netherton Infant School is a small infant school set close to the centre of Maryport on the west coast of Cumbria. Netherton Infants is a strategic partner of Ellen Teaching School Alliance. We work closely with the local schools and the local community through Maryport Extended Schools Partnership (MESP) and Maryport Education Group (MEG). 

Everyone at Netherton Infants are extremely proud of our school. We believe that school should be a place where children are enthused and motivated in their learning. We value each child as a unique individual and aim to give all children the best possible start to their education, enabling them to become successful learners within a safe, happy and caring environment.

We recognise the need to develop effective partnerships with all parents and carers and understand that choosing a school for your child is very important.
