Inglewood Community Nursery & Infant School Nursery Class

We aim to build a really strong relationship with you and your child so that we can support your child to thrive. Our highly skilled and experienced staff provide a curriculum which is broad, balanced and yet individual. We support your child's development through play-based experiences, focusing on their own interests as we play alongside your child to support their communication, language, social and emotional needs. Our environment offers open-ended resources to encourage your child to be creative and use their imagination. Our large outdoor area provides many opportunities to support your child's physical development, problem-solving and independence skills. 

We believe that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disability (SEND), have a common entitlement to an academic and social curriculum, which is enabling, accessible and offers challenge. We pride ourselves in providing a quality education for all children in our care, supporting them to take part in all aspects of wider school life such as music sessions and P.E. in the main school hall, walks in and around the school and the wider area, as well as taking part in school events which help them to be part of our wider school community.

At the beginning of your child's learning journey, we offer 'settling in sessions' where you and your child can meet members of our friendly team and together, we can introduce your child gradually in order for them to achieve success and be happy because 'Everyone Matters'.
