Age UK West Cumbria: Handyperson Service
The Handyperson Service Offers practical help with small repairs and fittings in and around your home to improve your safety and security.
The handyperson can provide instillation and fitting of small daily living aids and equipment such as:
- Grab rails
- Hand/stair rails
- Key safes
- Security fittings (Locks, window locks, chains etc)
The handyperson can also carry out small repairs inside the home for example:
- Fixing loose carpet
- Putting up curtain rails
- Replacing toilet seats
- Mending leaking taps
This service is for anyone aged 18 and over living in Allerdale and Copeland in need of community care services. The service is also open to anyone registered as disabled or who has been a victim of crime (e.g. theft)
We will provide an estimate of costs prior to any work being carried out.
