Ashfield Infant School
At Ashfield Infant School we believe children’s learning should be fun and very practical to enable them to learn, so we provide an exciting curriculum in which the children have lots of first hand experiences and enjoy trips and visitors into school to enrich their learning. We cater for all the different learning styles of the children and assess and track their progress carefully to set challenging targets.
The creative areas of the curriculum and the more academic areas are promoted highly throughout school. Being a good citizen is paramount and the behaviour of the children is outstanding. A very committed team of staff work here whose main aim is to see the children flourish in all areas of their development. Our employees are supportive of each other in whatever role they do in school. Parents and members of the wider community are involved in school life and we have a very effective Governing Body who are involved in monitoring and moving the school forward.
