Energy Coast UTC
The Energy Coast University Technical College (UTC) provides a dynamic, practical learning environment for 14-19 year old students in West Cumbria. The curriculum is inspired by employer requirements such as Iggesund Paperboard Ltd, James Walker & Co, Morgan Sindall, National Nuclear Laboratory, Nuvia, the Royal Navy and Sellafield Ltd. The curriculum is co-delivered by our partners at Gen2 Training, Lakes College and the University of Cumbria, and is co-ordinated by experts with backgrounds in both industry and teaching.
We are subject to normal OFSTED inspections and work with the Local Education Authority in relation to issues such as admissions.
