Westfield Primary School Nursery Class (Little Acorns)
Our Foundation Stage is purpose built to provide children with an excellent start to school life. We have a bright, colourful imaginative play area, a well-resourced creative area, a large area for outdoor learning as well as a more 'formal' classroom area to do our busy learning. All Nursery children will do a daily phonics session, where they will focus on listening carefully to recognise sounds in a fun interactive environment. We use songs and rhymes to develop early literacy skills and counting.

- Breakfast club starts at 8:00 each day and costs £1 Our nursery doors open at 8:45 and the morning session begins at 9:00 Children who qualify for the 15 hours attend nursery from 9:00 until 12:00 All children are welcome to stay for lunch which finishes at 13:00 They may bring a packed lunch or choose a school meal which costs £1.40 Children who qualify for the 30 hours or who have paid for the afternoons session finish at 15:00
